Kitsap County and Olalla Bay Market are partnering on a tour of Olalla’s most historic sites, including stops at the Nelson Mansion (yep, you get to go inside and see the amazing restoration done by owner and host Roy Hjalseth); our beloved Olalla store and post office building; the boat launch and estuary; the bible church; and the Olalla Community Club. At each stop, you’ll hear from a docent who will answer questions and tell you some of the history associated with the location. You’ll also get your Hometown History Passport stamped. In addition, Gnosh food truck will be onsite at the store in case you want to make a lunch date out of it. More details to come and more surprises too!
