Progress and a Promise
As many of you know, we suffered a catastrophic fire in August of 2022 with just weeks to go. We lost everything in our back kitchen, suffered extreme heat and smoke damage throughout the market, and the heartache of irreplaceable craftsmanship - up in smoke. Since then, we’ve been working hard to bring back our vision and it’s even better than we could ever have imagined. Here are a few photos of the damage and where things are today.
While we don’t have an opening date to share at the moment, we promise we’re working hard for it to be as soon as possible. We’ll keep you posted!
And finally, we can’t thank you enough for your generous donations, kind words and weekly gifts of pumpkin bread over the past 6 months rebuilding the market. Together, you raised more than $53,000 to help pay our professional mitigation team and repurchase related building materials. You lifted our spirits and helped drive us forward when we needed it most. You like us, you really like us! And we love you back!
